International Medieval Congress – Leeds

In early July the University of Leeds (UK) hosts the International Medieval Congress (IMC), where several thousand scholars come together to present their current research. Cîteaux – Commentarii cistercienses sponsors numerous sessions at this congress on any aspect of Cistercian history.

Potential participants may apply to present original research by e-mailing the editor-in-chief (kinder@citeaux.org) with a title and abstract no later than August 30 of the preceding year.

Summaries of the Cistercian sessions are published in Cîteaux in the second issue each year, and are sometimes developed into articles which appear later in the journal.
